MAIN ACTIVITIES
The I-66 Widening Project will add an additional travel lane on eastbound I-66 from the Dulles Connector Road to Fairfax Drive (Exit 71)

A single lane will be closed on I-66 East for inspections and support for subcontractors.

Custis Trail under I-66
The trail under Bon Air Bridge and the new roundabout are open for public use.

MAIN ACTIVITIES
This project, part of the I-66 Inside the Beltway improvements, will provide direct access from eastbound I-66 to the West Falls Church Metro station by constructing a new ramp connection between two existing ramps (eastbound I-66 to Route 7 and the eastbound I-66 collector-distributor road adjacent to the station's parking garage.)

A single lane will be closed in both directions for underbridge repairs and subcontractor support.

The I-66 Eastbound Widening Project includes construction of a new Washington & Old Dominion (W&OD) Trail Bridge over Lee Highway (Route 29).

Lee Highway (Route 29) North and South from just north of Washington Blvd. to just south of Fairfax Dr.

A single lane will be closed in both directions to support signalization work and bridge fence installation.

A single lane will be closed in both directions to support signalization work and bridge fence installation.

The new trail on the west side of Lee Highway is available to the public, but the W&OD Trail Bridge is not yet open.

The detour on the east side of Lee Highway, where the pedestrian traffic has been shifted onto the new trail north of the pedestrian bridge, remains active.
